There are approximately 1000 artefacts in the Denmark Historical Society’s collection including: household domestic items, medical equipment, cameras, maps, coins, office equipment, prison and prisoner memorabilia, costume (including WWI), sewing machines, books, toys, telephone/telegraph equipment, farming tools and machinery, timber industry equipment, musical instruments, blacksmith equipment, signs, and fishing equipment.

Many of the items are on display in the museum and some are under cover outdoors.  Many items are in storage awaiting conservation, interpretation and display.
